Asymptotic spreading speeds for a predator–prey system with two predators and one prey

چکیده

This paper investigates the large time behaviour of a three species reaction–diffusion system, modelling spatial invasion two predators feeding on single prey species. In addition to competition for food, exhibit competitive interactions and, under some parameter condition, they can also be considered as mutants. When mutations occur in predator populations, spread takes place at definite speed, identical both are not coupled through mutation, spreading exhibits more complex propagating pattern, including multiple layers with different speeds. addition, conditions reveal situations where nonlocal pulling phenomenon occurs and particular speed is linearly determined.

Persistence and Extinction of One - Prey and Two - Predators System ∗

Abstract. In this paper, a mathematical model is proposed and analysed to study the dynamics of one-prey two-predators system with ratio-dependent predators growth rate. Criteria for local stability, instability and global stability of the nonnegative equilibria are obtained. The permanent co-existence of the three species is also discussed. Finally, computer simulations are performed to invest...

Persistence of Predators in a Two Predators- One Prey Model with Non-Periodic Solution

A model of two competing predators sharing one prey in homogeneous environment with Holling type-II functional response is introduced. It is cast as a Kolmogorov-type system of differential equations. The stability of the equilibrium points of the system is studied and discussed. The conditions of coexistence and extinction of the predators in the case of non-periodic solution are obtained in t...

Competition and stoichiometry: coexistence of two predators on one prey.

The competitive exclusion principle (CEP) states that no equilibrium is possible if n species exploit fewer than n resources. This principle does not appear to hold in nature, where high biodiversity is commonly observed, even in seemingly homogenous habitats. Although various mechanisms, such as spatial heterogeneity or chaotic fluctuations, have been proposed to explain this coexistence, none...

Global Dynamics of a Lotka-Volterra Model with Two Predators Competing for One Prey

In this paper we study the global dynamics of 3–dimensional predator prey Lotka–Volterra systems, which describes two predators competing for food or shared one resource. From theoretical analysis on all parameters of this system, we show that if the resource for prey is limited, then there exist some values of parameters such that two predators and one prey coexist and their population are asy...

Queueing Inventory System in a Two-level Supply Chain with One-for-One Ordering Policy

Consider a two-level inventory system consisting of one supplier and one retailer. The retailer faces a Poisson demand with a known rate and applies base stock (one-for-one ordering) policy. That is, his inventory position is set to a pre-determined level, so the demand pattern is transferred exactly to the supplier. The supplier has an inventory system and a service unit with exponentially dis...
